Clubhouse and poolside seating for Hong Kong developments

Furniture used by two hundred households has to survive chlorine, sunscreen and constant rearrangement.

Residential clubhouse and pool-deck furniture in Hong Kong lives a much harder life than domestic furniture. The specification we use for these commissions is the most demanding we build.

Chlorine and sunscreen, not just rain

Both attack ordinary outdoor fabric. Solution-dyed acrylic with a removable, washable cover lets management launder rather than replace, which is where the whole-life cost of a scheme is decided.

Assume it will be dragged

Clubhouse furniture is moved daily and rarely lifted. Wide, replaceable glide pads under every foot protect both the frame and the deck finish, and can be swapped in minutes.

Stackability is a management requirement

Typhoon preparation means clearing a deck quickly. We design stacking sets with a defined stack height and a nesting geometry so a store room can be sized in the drawings.

Uniformity over years

Developments replace pieces in phases. We keep the frame profile, powder-coat reference and fabric specification on file so a replacement batch in year four still matches year one.

Commercial timelines

Clubhouse projects run to a handover date. We work to the programme with a sample piece approved before the batch enters production.
